Just a few months ago, EMC, Cisco and VCE announced that VCE will become an EMC business with the charter to focus on simplifying the deployment of hybrid clouds, including a full range of converged infrastructure offerings for enterprises and service providers. Today, VCE took another step to advance simplicity for customers as it launches a new architecture and solutions aimed to take it to new heights.

Simplicity.Next represents the next stage in VCE’s evolution, offering more hyper and hybrid innovation, more flexibility, more productivity, and the power to deliver more of what customers need most — simplicity, scalability and efficiency.

One of the industry’s most successful joint ventures of all time, the speed and scale of VCE’s success in pioneering and validating the converged infrastructure market has been unprecedented and established converged infrastructure as a mainstream market segment, with VCE as the clear leader. With today’s announcement, EMC is proud to provide further integration with VCE solutions to accelerate the customers’ journey to the cloud, and to continue delivering innovative world-class technology solutions with VCE that will help our customers transform the way they deliver IT services.

More than 1,000 enterprises and service providers have deployed over 2,000 Vblock Systems worldwide. A recent study conducted by IDCⁱ, entitled, “Convergence with Vblock Systems: A Value Measurement” revealed that, on average, VCE customers were able to deploy new services five times faster, reduce downtime by 96%, and lower their annual datacenter costs by 50% with Vblock Systems.

Now VCE will take its approach of system-level convergence and apply it to data center, hybrid-cloud, and “scale-out” architectures to address requirements for scale, speed and simplicity with a new converged “building block” strategy – all the way to the solution level – for applications, hybrid cloud, and big data.

Today’s announcement is really about how the customer wins with VCE converged infrastructure implementing best-of-breed technology and delivering a fantastic customer experience. Vblock is a truly converged infrastructure, it is pre-integrated, factory built and tested, delivered as a single product with one phone number to call for support.  Vblock Systems can help businesses simplify almost every aspect of IT operations freeing IT to redirect human and financial capital to delivering value added services to their line of business owners.

EMC continues to raise the bar in storage innovation, and we’re happy to collaborate with VCE to help customers rapidly realize the full potential of these innovations in deploying cloud-ready environments through VCE converged infrastructure.

Take a look at what customer A. Dui PYLE has to say about VCE Vblock systems.
